Psalms 91 family prayer for protection

I live in the shelter of the Most High
    I will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
This I declare about the Lord:
He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;
    he is my God, and I trust him.
For he will rescue me and my family from every trap
    and protect us from deadly disease.
He will cover us with his feathers.
    He will shelter us with his wings.
    His faithful promises are our armor and protection.
 I will not be afraid of the terrors of the night,
    nor the arrow that flies in the day.
I do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness,
    nor the disaster that strikes at midday.

 Though a thousand fall my side,
    though ten thousand are dying around me,
    these evils will not touch us.
I just open my eyes,
    and see how the wicked are punished.

If I make the Lord my refuge,
    if I make the Most High our shelter,
no evil will conquer us;
    no plague will come near my home.
 For he will order his angels
    to protect us wherever we go.
They will hold us up with their hands
    so we won’t even hurt our foot on a stone.
I will trample upon lions and cobras;
    I will crush fierce lions and serpents under my feet!

 Lord you say, “You will rescue those who love you.
    You will protect those who trust in your name.
 When we call on You, You will answer;
    You will be with us in trouble.
    You will rescue and honor us.
You will reward us with a long life
    and give us your salvation.”
