Do you fear death? A lot of people would say yes. Yes, because they still have kids to raise, parents to support, dreams to fulfill, etc. etc. But how many would say, “I fear death because I know hell is real and I have not accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior, trusted Him and obeyed Him”?
Many fear the Corona virus because they fear of dying. What they don’t realize is the truth that there is hell waiting for their soul if they have not accepted the free gift of eternal life through Christ Jesus.
It says in John 3:36
He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”
and Philippians 2:12
Therefore, my dear friends, just as you have always obeyed, so now, not only in my presence but even more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.”
What is it really like to be in hell? What does it mean that we have to work out our own salvation?
