God says that there is no one good and righteous ( Psalm 14:2-3 ) and the punishment for sin is eternal damnation in hell!
But cowards, unbelievers, the corrupt, murderers, the immoral, those who practice witchcraft, idol worshipers, and all liars—their fate is in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.
-Revelation 21:8
Perhaps you think, that if God is good, loving, forgiving, and merciful, He will forgive your sins. Wrong! God is a good judge and a good judge practices justice! You have to pay the price for all your sins in hell. But God has made a way for you to have eternal life with Him in heaven through Jesus.
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
– 2 Corinthians 5:21
That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.”
-Romans 10 :9-10
What are the things you must do to accept Jesus as your savior so He could prepare a place for you with Him in heaven. First, you must repent and say a prayer with all your heart something like this :
Dear God, in the name of Jesus, I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I ask you to forgive all my sins known and unknown to me. I believe that Jesus Christ died for me on the cross so that I may be saved. From now on, I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior and turn away from my sins. Help me to have a good relationship with Him and to know His love for me. I ask the Holy Spirit to guide my ways every day and convict me of my sins so I can always get it right with You! Thank you for hearing my prayer God, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
If you have prayed this and you are serious with your walk in the Lord. You will keep your salvation. Join a Bible-believing community and fellowship with believers in Jesus to grow your faith. Have yourself baptized in water immersion as a public confession of your faith. Jesus Himself got baptized in water to set an example for everybody to follow. God has a beautiful plan for your life if you walk with Him. His promises and gifts are miraculous! Remember, that not all who call to God are saved. So you must always get your heart right with God and do His will according to the Bible.
Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
-Matthew 7 :21
