You Are Precious!
Did you know that you were bought at a high price? If not, then you might be asking yourself, why would somebody buy me in the first place?
Let me explain. You are valuable. Your soul is worth more than what is on the earth combined. You are worth more than a ton of gold, a bucket of diamonds, and all the jewels in the world. Why? Because you are God’s most precious creation. You are worth His life! Our Creator’s life! So much so that He died for you on the cross 2000 years ago. You were paid with His precious blood to save you from death!
Death? Why would God save me from death? You might ask.
Romans 6:23 says, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
All of us have sinned. All of us have broken God’s commandments and that according to the bible is punishable by death.
But God loves us so much that He gave us His son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross as a penalty for our sins. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
You matter because He loves you. The Apostle Paul wrote in the book of Romans 8:38-39
“And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
God loves you so much that even if you have sinned, you will still have an eternal life which is punishable by death and hell, if you accept His free gift. Accept Jesus in your life and make Him your personal Lord and Savior. Talk to Him as you talk to your bestfriend. Ask for forgiveness, repent and turn-away from your sins. Everyday, search your heart for any impurities and ask Him to help you walk His way through the help of the Holy Spirit and your guide, the Holy Bible.
